Table : Drones For Real Estate
- table is coming soon
The cheapest drone in this list comes from GTEN Innovation Company which, needless to say, did a great job with their Upair One Drone. For just $350 you’ll get a great drone equipped with a true 4K camera capable of shooting amazing images and videos. When it comes to its features, it sports all the necessary ones such as one key return, failsafe auto return, auto return when battery is dangerously low, and to top it all off – a great GPS system mainly used for image stabilization. Another great thing about this drone is that it comes with a built in 7 inch LED display on its dedicated controller (which looks awesome), giving UPair One FPV ability. The FPV range goes on for about 500 meters while the control range exceeds that number by cca 300 additional meters. Battery-wise, this bad boy sports a smart 5400mAh battery which is able to endure up to 18 minutes of flight time. All things considered, UPair One is the best budget drone capable of doing professional quality real estate photography. If your business is still growing and you cannot yet afford a premium model, UPair One might just be the one for you.
Traxxas Aton Plus
The next in line of drones for real estate business is Traxxas Aton. The plus version of this drone comes with a 2-axis gimbal which will greatly improve the overall stability of your recordings. It’s lightning fast as well, capable of flying in 2 modes, sports and filming. While in sports mode, this little bugger’s top speed hovers around 50 miles per hour, while in filming mode, the top speed is significantly lowered (around 20mph) but the controllability and stability are greatly improved. It supports dual mode GPS system as well as air brakes and return to home function which will all come in handy more often than not. The only downside of this drone is the fact it does not come with a camera, meaning you will have to attach your own GoPro or some other similar action camera if you want to actually record your flights (which you obviously want since it is the main reason you’re buying it, right?). With flying time going on around 15 minutes, which is enough for you to take a couple of good real estate shots, the Traxxas Aton Plus proves to be a great bargain… if you have your own action camera, that is.
XIRO Xplorer V
The V version of this drone comes not only with a 3-axis gimbal but with a full HD camera capable of recording great quality videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. The gimbal makes up for incredible picture smoothness that you will greatly appreciate. It supports FPV as well, although it does not come with a built-in display. In order to utilize its FPV ability, you will have to connect your smartphone which is not that big of a hassle. The Xplorer V features follow me and circle around me modes which can help you with your recordings. You simply have to walk around the area of the real estate you are trying to record and viola – Xiro Xplorer V will do it for you. In terms of specifications, it has 500 meters of control range and up to 25 minutes of flight time. Not bad for its price which is somewhere around $450.
$500 to $1000

It comes with a state-of-the-art 4K camera capable of providing you with extraordinary footage quality, while at the same time giving you a live FPV feed. Not only that, the camera shoots crisp clear footage with a bit of help from the 3-axis gimbal it is mounted on. With about 23 minutes of flight time and more than 5 kilometers of lag-free range, the Phantom 3 Professional is truly an exceptional drone across al departments. Of course, this comes as no surprise since DJI is the most popular drone manufacturer in the world, and you don’t get there by making mediocre models, that’s for sure!
Yuneec has already made quite a name for itself with a line of ground breaking drones. One of their premium models (side to side with Typhoon H Pro), the Q500 is proving to be a great mid-price range drone with outstanding specifications. It can travel up to 800 meters away from its transmitter and lasts for around 25 minutes which is amazing, especially considering it has a fully-fledged 123MP camera. And let me tell you, that camera is no joke – it is capable of shooting 4K videos at 30FPS. Decrease the resolution to full HD and you’ll get the option of shooting videos in slow motion at 120frames per second. It comes with a great ST10+ transmitter with a steady grip, making sure you never miss a perfect shot of your desired property. All in all, I think it’s pretty clear that Yuneec is bound to stay right where they are – at the very top of the drone industry.
DJI Mavic Pro
If you are constantly on the go and you’re not able to carry a big clunky drone around with you, then DJI Mavic Pro might just be the one you are looking for. This little fella is actually foldable which makes it extra compact and gives it an amazing amount of mobility. It’s super easy to unfold and prepare it for takeoff. With a whopping 7 kilometers of flight range and obstacle avoidance sensors, you’ll never have to worry about it going out of range. Combine this with more than 27 minutes of flight time and you will begin to understand why Mavic Pro made its way onto this list. Many will say this is the best drone for real estate photography, do you agree?
DJI Phantom 4
The DJI Phantom 4 Everything You Need Kit is a true bargain when you consider the number of accessories you’ll be getting. But for the sake of keeping this article nice and clean, we are not going through each and every one of them – the drone itself is more important. And what is there left to be told about this beast, except that it’s the perfect drone for real estate agents! It is THE BEST aerial photography platform in terms of price and performance. For “1,399.00” you are getting a ton of accessories and a top-quality drone that is bound to improve your business, especially if you are in the real estate industry. This 28 minutes of flight time and 5 kilometers’ flight distance beast is growing more popular with each passing day. Not surprising considering it has everything you guys need – excellent camera, great image and flight stabilization, autonomous flight mode and a bunch of other features that will surely come in handy when you need them the most.
Yuneec Typhoon H Pro
Yuneec’s ultimate drone, the Typhoon H Pro costs almost $1,500. But, truth be told, it justifies its massive price tag by providing you with excellent features for both home and business scenarios. It sports a built-in collision avoidance system in collaboration with Intel and their RealSense Technology, making the drone fly seamlessly through the air with silk smooth ease. You’re a real estate agent so one of the things you’re most interested in is surely the camera. Don’t worry, it has a state-of-the-art 4K camera mounted on a 360 anti-vibration gimbal which are, together, capable of providing you with professional quality images and videos. It comes with a top notch ST16 transmitter with a massive built-in display (7 inches diagonally) powered by Android. This means you don’t need your smartphone for controlling, turning on/off or getting FPV feed. It’s all done with the controller itself. Specification-wise, with default batteries it can last up to 25 minutes in the air, and can fly up to 1.5 kilometers away from its dedicated ST16 transmitter.
DJI T600 Inspire 1
And finally, we have come to the most expensive (and probably the best) drone on this list. It is, as you can see above, DJI’s Inspire 1 which is a great all-around drone by all means. It sports a great 4K camera mounted on a 3-axis stabilization for optimal image quality and smoothness. DJI implemented an interesting feature that allows you to have 2 controllers connected to a single drone. This allows you to have 2 people controlling it, one flies it around looking for that perfect angle while the second one takes images and records videos. Another great thing is that its arms move upwards once it is in midair, eliminating them on the footage with a nice and effective mechanic. And finally, it has around 2 kilometers of control range and cca 18 minutes of flight time, which is way more than you need for a couple of great real estate shots.
